I'm so happy to have found court reporting, even though it was a little later in my life. After my first dream of becoming a touring professional musician didn't quite pan out, I started court reporting school. I graduated from Anoka Tech in May 2013, and freelanced in the Twin Cities area for a few years before moving back to my homeland of South Dakota in 2016. I took my first job as an official in December of 2017 in Watertown. I absolutely love it!
As a born and raised South Dakotan, I enjoy being outdoors and going hiking, fishing, hunting, and gardening. I live near the small town of Grenville with my soon-to-be husband Ben where we have a yellow Lab and a few cats.
Being a part of SDCRA has been great and I always look forward to meeting and catching up with my fellow court reporters. I am honored to fulfill my role as the President-Elect and excited for what the future holds.
