We are a link on the SD Bar website.  On their home page, click on the SD Online Bar directory, then at the top of the option list is Information Links.  We are listed there.

Anyone who knows of retired members that are not listed, please let us know their address and they will be added in.  Thanks.

The following are some Case Catalyst tips and tricks that hopefully will make your editing time faster and easier:

Ctrl + Q when used at the end of a question/answer automatically adds the interrupted dashes for broken up questions and answers.

Ctrl + ( will enclose the highlighted material with parentheses.

Ctrl + " will surround the highlighted material with quotes.

Ctrl + W will swap the next two words.

Shift + Ctrl + Q will tell you in what dictionary your outline is defined in and you can even modify the outline from there.

Alt + s and then "a" will bookmark your place in the text and Alt + s and then "g" will bring you back to that bookmark.

Alt + tab will let you switch between open windows, such as your job file and SearchMaster.

Any time you have a define box open (J, D or E-define) you can bring the highlighted word(s) into that box by simply pressing F6, or you can use the alt keys to shortcut it even further, such as Alt + a, which will bring the word(s) into the box and capitalize them.  The Alt keys are underlined under the blank define box.

As always, remember to BACK UP your work before shutting down.  You never know when your computer will die and never turn on again, and waiting for an IT person to retrieve your information can be time-consuming and costly.  The purchase of a simple jump drive with as little as 4 gigs of space can have you back up and running in no time.  I never exit a program such as Catalyst, QuickBooks or Word without first backing up my work.  It only takes seconds and the peace of mind is worth it!

I am not an Eclipse user, but if anyone would like to share some of those tips with me, I'd be more than happy to post them here as well.  I can be contacted at sandra@rcrapidreporting.com.
